Version 1.25 of static is an upgrade from Version 1.11. There have been several intermediate versions which were not released. A complete history of the intermediate versions, plus changes to the current version, can be found in the Version 1.25 REVISION HISTORY.

The major change in Version 1.25 is the addition of the ability of the tight-binding parameters and the code to describe collinear ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic structures, as described in the examples.

Other changes:

• Makefiles now exist for a wide variety of compilers. See the Installation page for more details.
• Improved memory management for multi-processor runs, using the minproc parameter during compilation.
• The TWEAKS file allows the user to fine-tune the amount of output from the code. This is particularly useful while debugging parameter sets and structures.
